What web accessibility is

Our commitment

We are committed to providing equal access to our digital content and services for all users, including persons with disabilities, as required by India’s Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016 and associated Rules. We design, build, and maintain our websites and apps with accessibility in mind across marketing campaigns, real-estate listings (including IDX/MLS feeds), and interior design showcases.

Standards we follow (India)

  • IS 17802 (Parts 1 & 2) — India’s standard for accessibility of ICT products and services, issued by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and legally enforceable via the RPwD Rules (Amendment), 2023. CABE Foundation+3Bureau of Indian Standards+3Broadband India Forum+3

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA — International benchmark referenced by India’s web guidelines and mapped within IS 17802. Guidelines India+2Guidelines India+2

  • GIGW 3.0 (Guidelines for Indian Government Websites & Apps) — Used as a reference model for robust, accessible digital services (we follow its accessibility expectations even though we are a private entity).

  • Testing & governance

  • Periodic audits against IS 17802 / WCAG 2.1 and regression checks before major releases.

  • Manual assistive-tech spot checks (keyboard, screen reader).

  • Issue tracking & remediation SLAs for any barriers reported.

What we’re doing

Content, listings & media

  • Alt text on non-decorative images (property photos, mood boards, before/after).

  • Text alternatives or detailed descriptions for floor plans, 3D renderings, and virtual staging.

  • Captions for videos and audio descriptions or written summaries for key property/design videos and walkthroughs. TPGi — a Vispero company

  • Keyboard-accessible photo sliders, carousels, and 360°/VR tours with fallback galleries.

  • Readable PDFs (tagged/structured) for brochures and spec sheets.

Structure, design & code

  • Semantic HTML with ARIA only as needed; visible focus states; logical heading order; skip links.

  • Color/contrast compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA; text resizable to 200% without loss.

  • Forms with explicit labels, clear errors, helpful instructions, and captcha alternatives.

  • Performance & compatibility: current versions of major browsers on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android; tested with common screen readers and keyboards.​

Physical tours & design consultations

For site visits, open houses, and consultations, we provide reasonable accommodations (e.g., step-free alternatives where available, extended viewing times, large-print materials, remote/virtual showings). Please tell us your needs when booking.
